In the posts that follow, I would like to take the reader over the stretch of road that I have traveled and continue to traverse in my engagement with Biblical studies, the history and development of early Christianity, and a variety of other related topics.  My exploration will not be constrained by any doctrinal dogma or tradition. There are no ‘sacred cows’ here. Rather, the content of this blog will come from a place of intellectual candor and academic freedom.

All I ask is for readers to permit themselves the honesty of mind and intellectual freedom to observe and examine my exploration covering a spectrum of interesting topics. Accordingly, I welcome constructive, enjoyable discourse from readers of all backgrounds and worldviews. Through discourse, perhaps we will even come to realize how much we have gained from one another.
